After witnessing the extraordinary transformation that came from sending 105 students from Rwogo village to school, Patrick and Peter began to dream even bigger. They saw firsthand that education doesn’t just change a child — it changes an entire community. Parents became more engaged, siblings grew curious about learning, and the village began imagining a different kind of future. Out of that success came a bold vision: to create a community center that extends opportunity beyond the children already in school to reach every family in the village. This center — the Indatwa Community Center — will be a vibrant hub where children can access technology, books, and tutoring; where youth can receive mentorship, leadership training, and career guidance; and where families can attend workshops on health, parenting, and financial literacy. It will be a place where ideas can grow, where hope can take root, and where the next generation of Rwandan leaders can begin shaping their future.
