More than eighteen years ago, a visit to Cabo San Lucas revealed a growing need among children and families who had arrived from other parts of Mexico seeking safety, stability, and a fresh start. In response, land was purchased in the community of Colonia Real Unidad—an area marked by significant poverty but also deep resilience and potential.
What began as a simple children’s soup kitchen has grown into a trusted place of nourishment, encouragement, and community care. Each day, meals are served free of charge to children and families, creating a gathering place where people are welcomed with dignity, compassion, and hope.
But the impact extends far beyond a meal. Through mentorship and faith-based encouragement, children are taught the value of respect, healthy choices, service to others, and caring for their community. The program places a strong emphasis on helping children avoid bullying, substance abuse, and school dropout, while building confidence and a sense of belonging that can shape the course of their future.
Around shared tables, families find connection and support. The meals served here help foster unity among neighbors and remind children that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.
This program also provides practical support for everyday needs, including food staples, hygiene products, kitchen supplies, and other essentials that help families navigate difficult seasons with greater stability and dignity.

Volunteers also play an important role in creating the welcoming, family-centered environment this program is known for.
At its heart, this ministry is built on the belief that every child carries unique gifts and potential waiting to be nurtured. Through encouragement, opportunity, and care, children are given space to dream, create, and discover who they were made to become.
Together, we can continue nourishing both body and spirit in Cabo San Lucas—one meal, one child, and one act of care at a time.
Give the gift of stability.
